This person will interface with the development team members to develop and test cutting-edge applications and business analysts to confirm the understanding of the business processes and requirements. This person should possess strong coding/testing techniques and have experience in developing client/server as well as multi-tier applications and have a proven ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into a robust code. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Process Develop and test client/server and multi-tier applications *Requirements/skills: * 4+ years of developing and testing business application systems. 4+ years of relational database experience. Excellent development skills utilizing the following programming languages: Visual Basic .NET. Extensive experience with RDBMS (especially, Oracle and DB2 UDB ), SQL, PL/SQL. Proven ability to build high-performance and stable client/server applications utilizing RDBMS. Experience in building applications in an N tier environment is highly desired. Proficient with the following tools and skills: Data Query Tools ( TOAD, DB Visualizer, PL/SQL Developer etc ), MS Source Safe or other source code control system, HTML, XML. Proficient with the following operating systems: Windows (NT, XP), Solaris, AIX or other UNIX OS. Excellent verbal and written skills (using English).
