The Web Technologies department develops GSI’s web-based e-commerce products
and applications, including the core Web Store and the supporting Management
Tools.

seeking bright, motivated Software Engineers to work as a member of the
Java/J2EE-based product engineering teams building the next generation of
GSI’s products and services.

As a member of a cross-functional development team, Software Engineers work
closely with Database, Architecture, Quality Assurance, Project Management
and other software teams to implement technology solutions for new and
existing products and services. Software Engineers participate in all phases
of product development including: planning, analysis, design, development,
testing and ongoing support.



·       Implement new features, components, and services from specs
employing Java-based technologies with little direct supervision.

·       Design and develop new modules or modify/refactor existing
components.

·       Participate in requirements analysis and development planning
activities.

·       Assist in resolving testing and production issues when they arise.

·       Produce detailed and accurate documentation relating to assigned
tasks when necessary.

·       Promote highly-collaborative, team-oriented environment, working
closely with all levels of product development staff and third-party
development teams.

·         BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
(or equivalent), with strong competencies in object-oriented development,
data structures, algorithms and software design and architecture

·         4 years experience programming Core Java, JSP, Servlets and J2EE
technologies.

·         Coding experience using Web-presentation technologies (HTML, CSS,
JSON, Javascript), SQL and Unix shell scripting.

·         2 years development experience on web services

·         XML, XSD, Web Service Technologies: AXI, CXF, WS Standards.

·         Solid core java development  and remote debugging experience

·         Good understanding of web based architecture and ecommerce
technologies

·         Solid grasp of software development lifecycle best-practices,
methods, and conventions, including but not limited to Test Driven
Development, Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Domain Driven
Design, and Dependency Management.

·         Strong oral and written communication skills.



·       Relevant Business & Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical, design and debugging skills
- Effective in team setting or as individual contributor
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to develop design, test and deployment documentation
- Ability to work in teams



Preferred

·       Experience in ecommerce domain a huge plus

·       Experience working with or developing Spring/Struts based projects.

·       Experience refactoring existing systems to design patterns.

·       Experience with Oracle 9i\10g or higher, Web Logic 10 or higher.

·       Experience with MuleESB.

·       Experience with Maven build tool.

·       Experience with Subversion/CVS.

have MuleESB and webservices experience and Spring/Spring MVC

5)Java Developer for Contract to Hire Position in Greenwood Village, CO

Max C2C rate:  $45-48

Designs, develops, and implements Java applications to support business
requirements. Must have experience working with: Oracle, writing SQL scripts
and Stored Procedures Experience with XML and processing XML through XSL,
DOM and SAX API’s is highly desired.     Follows approved life cycle
methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and
testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and
investigation. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4-6
years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with
standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is
required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Expected to pass
proficiency test (administered by Atlas) in Java and Oracle.  Candidates
MUST  be US Citizens or hold Green Card or EAD.
