We have a need for some Android Developers for our client Boston. They can use Android like they can program for any other Linux flavor... find the API, know the classes, call the classes, produce an output. We are working at a layer where the APIs are rough, if available at all, because we are intercepting the app as it calls these APIs and changing the information it is requesting (either intercepting and adding more information, or changing its routing all together) which requires a more indepth knowledge of the API. We need candidates to interview this week and the start date would be the second week in January (January 12th). The position is located in Boston and we need people who can relocate there. When we look at candidates we are looking for people who have C/C++ experience. This is not basic android app development. They will be working at the operating system level. They have a basic prototype developed so it is not quite as hard of a screening process as before but we still need candidates who can work very independently and that have excellent problem solving skills. People who have worked on native applications like camera, Bluetooth, GPS, etc have worked out the best.
