Description
The SharePoint Business Analyst will perform in depth audit of sites
(security model, features, webparts…) and will analyze impacts of a
migration. He will leverage as much as possible SharePoint standard
capabilities to address the business requirements. He will evaluate
business practices and provide guidance related to SharePoint migration.
The SharePoint Business Analyst must be proficient documenting, testing,
and evaluating business solutions. He should have demonstrated experience
in analysis on a SharePoint migration project.

Mission, Key activities & deliverables
·         Migration of the NAM SharePoint sites to the Global SharePoint
farm
·         Detailed migration plan with associated backlog and approach
(Standard plan to apply per sites)
·         Communication plan and artifacts for users and management
ensuring they are aware of the impact and the project goals / benefits for
them
·         Documentation of existing sites (structure, permissions, owners,
etc…)
·         Definition of acceptance criteria
·         Evangelize new governance and process (end users and regional IT)
·         Execute change management plan at regional level
·         Coordination of regional activities
·         Reporting to regional management and global PM (actual vs
baseline, issues etc…)
·         Create and follow risk back log and apply mitigation
·         Document the decisions for the business

Requirements
·         Must have 5+ years’ of solid Business Analysis skills
·         Experience as Business Analyst on a major SharePoint 2010
migration project
·         Extensive experience with business at the tactical and
operational levels
·         Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 concepts and features:

o   Navigate web  applications, site collections and sub sites
o   Understand groups, permission level and security inheritance
o   Identify webparts, workflows, drop-off libraries
o   Control activated features like publishing , managed metadata

·         Knowledge of PowerShell is a must
·         Must have functional expertise in interfacing with various
internal/external clients and other teams at all levels
·         Must have excellent oral and written English communication skills
·         Must have solid documentation experience within all phases of the
project lifecycle
·         Must have experience with stage gate approvals
·         Must have Risk Management and Stakeholder Management experience
·         Must have MS Project and Visio expert level knowledge
·         Elaborate on SharePoint Activities to be performed
