*Locals only - F2F* *Client : *Healthcare Insurance *Position Description:* Client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Technical Manager to manage the day-to-day activities of a Group Insurance production support team. - Troubleshoot application production issues across a wide breadth of technologies including mainframe, mid-range and Windows platforms. - Respond to critical application outages or issues. - Drive to root cause and resolution. - Provide on-call support for after hours batch processes. - Partner with Delivery Management team to ensure a smooth transition from enhancement and project teams to production support team. - Ensure that service level agreements are met. - Generate metrics reports. - Point of contact with client regarding day-to-day activities. - Interact with vendors and business partners. - Manage and facilitate the prioritization of production break fix items and baseline activities. - Communicate the status of all production problems and upcoming maintenance and release activities to business partners, stakeholders and upper management. *Required Skills:* - 3+ years team lead experience managing medium-large teams across different time zones/countries - 5+ years experience working with mid-range platform; Unix, Linux, JBOSS, Java, SQL experience - DataStage, ETL, Websphere, Message Broker, MQ a plus - Experience working in an onsite/nearshore/offshore support model - Prior experience using application performance and monitoring tools such as Ignite and Team Quest - Strong analysis skills - Excellent problem solving skills - Ability to prioritize and manage work across a medium-large team - Experience with production support - Strong interpersonal and communications skills - Works well with a team - Able to work independently - Customer focused - Works well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment *Non-essential skills* : - Interest in learning and approaches quickly with little or no formal training. - Possess Group Insurance background a plus - Self-motivated - Self-starter - Quick learner - Flexible. - Focused -- *Thanks & Regards* *Subodh * *Param Consulting Services Inc.* 732-404-0411/0466 Ext 5562 | sub...@pcsionweb.com | http://www.pcsionweb.com *Gtalk :* subodhparam
