Position: SDN System Engineer. Location : Hartford, CT Duration : 6 Months contract.
A.Candidate must have working knowledge of following networking concepts: Multipoint Ethernet (L2 VPN) Static routing BGP routing B.Candidate must have familiarity with following networking concepts: ACACS SNMP Router Configuration Basic firewall configuration SDN, VNF C. Candidate should have work experience with requirements management Strong exp in requirements engineering (writing spec) Develop device and service physical database design from logical database design provided by subject matter experts. Develop service activation and inventory build process flows for a Provisioning and Activation System. These must be developed in context of broader systems environment and its process flows. Develop APIs for external systems to call Provisioning and Activation System to : active, change, and deactivate service add and remove device inventory records these are based on developed physical database design 4.Requirements on how Provisioning and Activation application should configure devices to create and delete services. Input is Design Guideline (DG) from another team that shows the vendor-specific syntax and features needed. Our work is: Provide mapping from service request API elements into configuration variables in the proper syntax. Develop naming conventions for named elements in the configuration Segregate service configuration into incremental changes needed per order and common configuration that can be performed once per device Develop bootstrapping configuration procedure for the device (e.g. establish NM connectivity, authorization, initial routing) Suggest alternative configuration design to DG developers to make Provisioning and Activation System processing simpler and more robust 5.Design reference data (i.e. semi-static lookup tables) to assist Provisioning and Activation System processing. E.g. VNF and hardware element profiles. Maintain reference data as new VNFs and hardware need to be supported. 6.Develop requirements for orchestrating new VNFs. This includes spin up procedures, ensuring necessary data is available, and applying licensing. 7.Work with service and device design teams to build implementable NM connectivity design *Warm Regards,* *Mazhar Khan* *__________________* *Resourcing Specialist* *SYSTEL *| Atlanta, GA *A Certified (MBE) Minority Business Enterprise* *Direct: *+1- 678-203-2434 *mazh...@systelcomputers.com* <mazh...@systelcomputers.com>
