*Job Title : Security Firewall Specialist* *Location : Reston, VA* *Duration : 06+ Months* *Description:* The insistence is more on the security & design aspects of the firewall implementation rather than just configuring the firewall. We are fine with strong network engineer (IP) who has experience on the security implementation aspects. Candidate should be well versed in *Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewall*, preferred candidates with certification on these firewall platforms. knowledge in SDN (Software defined networking)/NFV ( Network function virtualization) security area. Experience with Unix/Linux OS & knowledge on its security features/implantations Working knowledge of network security architecture and protocols, security threat vectors, networking, network security, and application security In-depth knowledge of common network protocols, packet formats, and security vulnerabilities is required Design/solution implementation experience of physical firewalls (any firewall) & strong networking knowledge around routing, security vulnerability, penetration testing, intrusion prevention & tools for monitoring, knowledge in SDN/NFV security area. General security concepts & experience with strong network engineer is also fine.
