1. Project: Developing a notification system that sends you alerts in
real time with any updates that have to do with the store, inventory, etc
that they can drop into any application. For example, if there is a recall
on a food item, low inventory, new food label needed, new signage, etc.
they will get alerts in real time to help identify issues that need to be
resolved and allow employees to handle it immediately. It's the first of
it's kind in the retail market. Schnucks created a prototype and now they
are looking to develop and launch it.
2. Skill Sets: Looking for someone with Websockets experience or any
type of bi-directional communication software. Another example is Signal
R.
3. Node JS or any type of front-end technology.
4. .Net experience (They are currently using VB.Net but know it's more
likely to find someone with C# which is just as good)
5. Looking for someone that has worked on a project with bi-directional
communication technologies.
