*Role: Sr. Systems Analyst (with System Processing Focuses) * *Interview Mode: Phone and Skype interviews required – Local candidates preferred* *Location: Indianapolis, IN* *Duration: 3-6+ months * *Job Details:* *A Sr. System Analyst with System Processing Focuses * *DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: * · This Senior Workflow Analyst is responsible for leading and coordinating system processing initiatives. This key resource will be supporting business and technical teams in utilizing Business Process Management ideologies to create and capture business rules around our system integrations · This role supports business, functional, and nonfunctional requirements that foster application design completeness, consistency, and quality back for development efforts. · Flexible to move to 1 day a week to work from home when work patterns are established and manager approves *MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* *Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: * · Seasoned systems contributor with strong working knowledge with various industry technologies · Successful Senior System Analyst must be able to meet all deadlines · Understand application design approaches · Managing process changes and leads process redesign workshops · Educates business users responsible for managing and operating business processes · Identify and analyze core business processes and workflow needs · Ability to work closely and naturally with customers, business owners, and technical resources · Monitors, measures and provides feedback on process performance · Facilitating process workshops that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with users · Applies working knowledge of business process to system modelling notations (BPMN, EPC, BPEL) · Clearly articulates, documents both business and functional system processing requirements · Strong skills in supporting projects through to completion · Ability to jump-in and help out with a "whatever it takes" attitude · Ability to see the big picture, understand project objectives · Provide their understanding of how processes should work to operational improve initiatives · Experienced in planning work tasks in an Agile-Scrum development platform · Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements · May lead technical requirement gathering meetings · Strong written and verbal communication skills are important in this position · Owns the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary · Develops and owns list of final build enhancements · Develops and defines application development scope and objectives · Prepares technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written · Performs technical design reviews and code reviews · Ensures unit test completion, meets test plan requirements, system testing is completed according to plan · Assesses current status and supports data information planning · Mentors others and may lead multiple or small to medium sized projects. · Facilitates group design and collaboration sessions to elicit complex information on SDLC topics *TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE: * Strong business and systems processing modeling skills. Knowledge of technical tools used to develop business process models, including root cause analysis. Experience with Visio, workflow mapping, and other functional system workflow processing tools. Knowledge of developing metrics. Understanding of systems structures and purposes various types of business process models. Skill in using MS Office Suite TFS, Confluence, Jira experience a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills. *EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: * Requires a BA/BS in Information Systems or Computer Science or other related field; 8 or more years related experience; multi-platform experience; expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
