Hi, I need to know and understand what exactly .NET (or for that matter, a platform offered by anyone IBM, BEA etc.,) offers that makes creating web services easier.
Is there an example out there that would explain me first creating a web site without any platform/tool and then the same example using .NET? I mean I want to know �all� the �plumbing work� Visual Studio.NET or the Framework or just the .NET does for me� Thanks in advance for your help.
