1. Handle the SelectedIndexChanged event of the TreeView to find out the node that's currently being edited. 2. Link your TreeView Datasource to a FormView/DetailsView that shows the currently selected record in edit mode. 3. The update handler for the FormView/DetailsView will have to update the physical XML file and then you can rebind the TreeView control.
