The procedure coding I have provided is NOT vb.net. It is actually a "scuedo stored procedure".
It seems to me that you are NOT familiar with Stored Procedures. Stored Procedures (SPs) are written in SQL Server Database. We call it from our Application. There is lots of stuff out there regarding stored procedures you can search out. Simply we combine one or more SQL Statments in a Stored Procedure.
