Hello, I wanted to provide a quick update in hopes that someone will still be able to answer my question. I've perused various websites looking for this answer and have not had any luck. I called Microsoft five days ago and their representatives did not know the answer. They were going to call me back but so far I haven't heard anything. Maybe someone out there using Visual Studio 2008 Standard can help answer my question...
Does VS 2008 Standard allow data connections to remote SQL server instances?
