Mark What i think u need to know is the difference between Technology, Language and the tool. So then you would be able to find which language is the best. According to my knowledge the best languages are as follows decreasing in their familirity -> Front End Programming Languages Pure OOP C++ Java (JDK1.6 or Higher) Use Frameworks like Spring, Hibernate and etc...... C# (2.0/3.5)
->DataBases Here According to My Knowledge is Only One Language but different vendors and that is SQL(sequal/S-Q-L) like MSSQL server 2000/2005/2008 Oracle 8/8/10 and now 11 g DB2 Postrage MySql and etc ->Web Web is little mingled with technology and language alot of ambiguities regarding PHP(Language/Technology) ASP.Net a Technology implemented using HTML,DHTML,XML, Backend Programming Languages like C#, Vb.net Client Side Scripting : JavaScript, VBScript AJAX : It is a technology using xml and javascript Please Correct Me there If i am wrong anywhere any Suggestions would be appretiated
