Hello, I am running .NET version 2.0 on a Windows XP box. We recently upgraded our Oracle Client from ORA92 to ORA10.2.0. We removed the ora92 client from our machines for various reasons. We were told that Oracle 10G would be backwards compatible with 8i databases. Well, when trying to run my 8i database apps in .NET version 2.0 we get an error where the app is still trying to look for the old ora92 dll files, namely this one: OraOps9.dll. I can't seem to make it look at the new Oracle Client installation for the OraOps10.dll file.
Anyone had this trouble or/and can offer advise on how to fix it? We have been working on this for a while now. thanks in advance.
