Hi Everyone,

Good work by everyone to keep this forum alive and running, many of the
answers are indeed helpful.

I've just ran into a new issue; Visual Studio Installation.

My box is XP SP3 Home edition with enough Ram and Memory; VS 2008 was sound
and running. I was kind of cleaning my box so that I could reload the
Microsoft products neatly again.

During the Uninstall of VS2008 through Add/Remove Programs the laptops
battery drained without my knowledge.

And hey presto!! You know the rest.

Now I can't really load a new VS 2008 for some reason the installation stops
due to unexpected error.

Have been mucking my head about with solutions on google, the registry
changes and all that.

To be honest nothing's changed.

So if anyone knows anything about how to sort this; I'd be more than glad
because I so don't want to do a new windows as that is quite time consuming.
