WPF/WinForms/ASP.NET/MVC??? "I need to gather the user information" Gather what? Do you expect users to type information in? Are you trying to read cookies? "Whats the best way of doing it?" Doing what? If you can't ask a simple question I fear for your future career as a programmer.
