I tried to connect to a SQL server 2008 r2 DB on a 64 bit Windows 7 from a 32 bit Windows 7 through my VS 2008 program. On the 64 bit computer, I oppend firewall for port 1433. But I still failed to connect to the DB. Did I miss something? Do I need configure DB for remote connection?
