That is usually true, but parsing data from LINQ expressions can be a
complex task by itself if the source XML is poorly designed. I don't
think it's always a question of being easier. There are a host of
other considerations. In any case, XSLT has a major performance
benefit.

I think the question boils down to how the XSLT is or how good the
LINQ code is.
