why you want to use both LIKE and IN.you can use both in one operation
but according me it was not provide benifit.

and in you query----
Select tempid From temp Where tempname IN ('ttt%','sdsd%','%sdfs%')

is wrong with IN we use only value like this=---


Select tempid From temp Where tempname IN ('ttt','sdsd','sdfs')
