Hi- This is a simple question I'm sure every newbie has faced.
I have a web form, an sqldatasource, a gridview, and a formview with everything deleted except for "new" I use the "new" link to create new records. The problem is, when the table is empty, the formview disappears. So, how do you enable the user to create the very first record? I can't imagine that this is not a use case that every single application uses, so I'm guessing I don't have to code this, but maybe I'm wrong.
