One of possible ways is using type cast from char to byte, for
example, (byte) 'A' will return 65 (ascii code of the character A), to
get character from ascii code, just cast type from byte or integer to
char like this (char) 65 will return 'A' as the corresponding
character to the ascii code of 65.

I think there are more than 1 way to achieve the same thing, just
search for other solutions.
Hope it helps!
