Ok good news. Here is the kind of message I'm sending to newcomers, it's a bit longer ;), feel free to adapt: ===================== I'm glad to welcome you in our project to start the LL language :). I've just created your language team and you're now coordinator. However I'm sad to tell you that we currently have very few LL translations in our translation files on Transifex. I recommend you to search for existing translations from upstream projects before starting your work. Concerning translations, most of our translation work is on Transifex, so you can start with it. There are some texts and audio sounds of the CD that are not on Transifex though, see: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00036.html You have to know that we also have the website to translate, it is based on the software Spip and requires another account. I recommend to start with the CD however. Finally I inform you that you can get real time information about our project on our mailing lists. We have several lists with different purposes, see: https://gna.org/mail/?group=doudoulinux I'll post information about new stuff to be translated/updated on the lists ”lang” for the CD and “docs” for the website. You can also contact us by IRC on irc.freenode.net, channel #doudoulinux. Our next stable release is planned for mid-January with lots of translation improvements. I'd be glad to add your language in our list of supported languages even if the work will be far not completed most likely!
