Hello,
Iunderstand that the Thai and Vietnamese builds come with “nightlyupdates
activated” … and that just running the sudo apt-getupdate and upgrade from the
Live USB system will do the job in thesystem on the USB. Tomorrowwe start
checking the issues listed in the report we sent for thefirst Thai build and
will also make some changes in the translation,to test the nightly updates the
following day.Somequestions:Willthe update get the Transifex changes of the day
before only? Ifa translator works every day, in order to keep the local
systemtranslation updated, is the translation update to be run every day?
About“nightly”. We are 7 hours + GMT. What time zone we need toconsider for the
night? Or should we just consider let's say 20 to 24 hours after the changeis
made in our time zone?Cheers,

 Hello,

As requested by Amedeo, I've just uploaded new builds of DoudouLinux 2.1 for
Thai and Vietnamese onto our daily build section:

http://download.doudoulinux.org/dailybuild/realtime.php

The purpose is to check translations before DDL 2.2, still due to June. This
new update of DDL v2 will just bring translation updates and blacklists for
Dansguardian, to complement page contents filtering based on words found in the
page (fails for HTTPS and pages only made of images).

If you want to check your language too and need a new DVD build for that, just
ask me! For Amedeo's builds, I've used the new build server that Gaurav kindly
offered the project. Results are amazing: 12.5 minutes to build the ISO, 2
minutes to upload it onto the daily build section. From home on my own
computer, the figures are respectively 45 minutes and 2.5 hours!!! As we
recently reached 50 language teams on Transifex, this is very good news :).

NB: Amedeo, these builds are supposed to ship with nightly updates activated,
please check that you can really get Transifex changes of the day before.

Cheers,
JM.
