Actually this isn't a good idea in any case, especially with v2.0: prefix/lib/ contains libdovecot*.so libraries prefix/lib/dovecot/ contains plugins Perhaps there should be a separate --plugindir parameter for that. You'd then have: /opt/dovecot/lib /opt/dovecot/lib/plugins or something.
