+1 from me.  I had to reconfigure our MTAs to stop advertising SMTPUTF8
because after investigating complaints of missing mail, it turned out
messages were making it all the way through every hop only to be
rejected right at the mailbox (quite disappointing).  Some senders will
resend or send an alternate non-UTF8 message when SMTPUTF8 isn't
advertised, but I still wonder how many messages are simply never sent
because (a single component of) our mail system can't support it...
