Today I noticed a new iOS update to version 18.2.1. However, the update doesn't change anything; the same issues persist. Basically, it's not just about the attachments, but that's where it is most noticeable. Overall, the account synchronization isn't working.
same problem here since iOS 18. What sometimes seems to help is to force-kill the Mail app and restart it, until the process gets stuck again.
