Dear Dovecot Users
I guess there may be a storm of questions from users of Dovecot on Debian who
are upgrading to the latest Debian stable, which uses Dovecot 1:2.4.1 [1] with
the concomitant configuration changes.
The issue I have encountered a problem translating my previous configuration
for "mail_location" to "mail_path".
The mail_location string returned from my database was
mbox:/home/<user>/Mail/:INBOX=/var/mail/<user>:INDEX=/home/<domain>/Mailindexes/<user>
Reading the mail location docs [2] I'm unclear if the colon separated
configuration still works or if the configuration items should be separated
into separate fields, presumably:
mail_path
mail_inbox_path
mail_index_path
