This worked recently for me:
FILE_PATTERNS = *.js
If you build the latest Doxygen from source, it should Just Work, no
FILE_PATTERNS required. Javascript is actually handled by core Doxygen,
and the above FILE_PATTERNS line is a work-around for a recently fixed
bug.
