1. What do you expect from the message box ? Does it look like Hello World ?
Yes it does because there is no other urgent need to make this dialog more
fancy.

2. If you click on the context menu and nothing is displayed then there is not
message associated with the current away / dnd state. Indeed this can easily be
fixed, e.g just inserting a short hint that no message is available or a
default one.

3. You should start to distinguish between the session context and the XMPP
context. You ALWAYS fail look at each context in a separate way. Every time you
start to make suggestions about a feature that would require to mix both
context and thus making the session runtime highly depends on a XMPP network
context, i.e you forbid yourself to replace the exising network context with
another one (e.g plain TCP etc.)

Again, this away / dnd message is a feature inside the XMPP context. If you
would like to have such a feature inside the session than you have to write
that on your own and do not misuse the XMPP stuff. As for the display stuff.
There is already NO space left inside the GUI. Where should one place and
display a long away / message (e.g 100 characters) ?

** [bugs:#845] "Unavailable Message" feature is clumsy and not always working**

**Status:** open

See attached screenshot.

1. "Show Unavailable Message" is ambiguous, it could also mean "Show the
message that is unavailable".
1. The message box looks like a "Hello World".
1. During a test, holger5 used the Pidgin IM client to enter the "extended
away" state (which is a preconfigured state): In the session view, this was
listed as "xa", in the context menu there was the "Show Unavailable Message"
entry, but clicking on it had no effect.
1. What about displaying that message directly in the session view instead of
"(away)" or "(xa)"?
