Wait no longer (if you can build a DLL from the CVS repository) I've checked in a fix for a couple of taskbar problems, and all the other tinkering with the DLL I was keeping back before the release. I've upped search.htm to say 3.0.1 beta 1, and it includes a new command quitdqsd - this should shut down DQSD and restart Explorer, leaving the DLL unloaded. Could you all try this, and let me know what happens. It may be the basis of an improved upgrading route in the future.
