Hi all, I've added a function called setSearchWindowText in defer_tools.js which can take two parameters - 1) the text to set in the search window and 2) (optional) boolean specifying whether to select (highlight) the text.
I've gone through and updated all the *.xml and *.js files I could find to use this function instead of the document.deff.q.value ... selectRange ... stuff. I tried each search that I modified once and they appeared to work but would like the rest of you to try my changes out and make sure the searches work as they originally did. BTW, I didn't change any addons - just calculate.js, history.js, and clock.js. For searches I modified alarm, aolim, ascii, chmodconv, hexconv, jsenc, jsexec, lottogen, mac, md5, passgen, radix, reget, rgb, rnum, rot13, temp, and timer.
