I have found a work around (fix) for getting prompted for the ActiveX prompt
for my timesync addon and Brent's bookmark addon.

It involves a registry hack.

I read the article here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q182569

Basically I edited both

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings
and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings

In them I opened Zones. Zone 0 is for the local computer. So I opened Zone
0.

Key 1201 is "Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe"

For this key in both locations the setting was 1 which is "Prompt" I think.
I set the value to 0 for both of the 1201 keys.

Then I rebooted the PC and "wa-lah!" the ActiveX prompt was gone.

Again this "should be safe" as the MS document says editing the keys for
Zone 0 is ONLY for the local PC and the ActiveX controls in question are
local.

FWIW,
JB
