Category: Interface Improvements (example) Group: Next Release (example) Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: 'run command' modifier Initial Comment: The only feature I'd want added to this amazing util is the ability to launch applications from it, a la klauncher. It could probably be done with an alias, but would a metakey combo - alt-enter or something - be used? If that were implemented, I could do away with my Quick Launch bar entirely, and I'd probably never need the start button. What reckon? jbc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2003-10-08 08:58 Message: Logged In: NO Haven't seen klauncher but there are several ways to run programs in DQSD 1) use the run command built into dqsd. ie: run taskmgr will do the same thing as opening the run dialog and typing in taskmgr 2) use localaliases.txt in the DQSD installation directory or on the menu at Configure -> Local Aliases to make your own shortcuts to take advantage of all the built in commands. 3) check out the Quick Launch and Desktop add-ons at http://www.brentlysoftware.com/dqsdaddons and have your quick launch and desktop icons show up as menu items in the DQSD popup menu ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=432069&aid=819871&group_id=42081 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
