Category: UI Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nikolai Devereaux (bigaction) Assigned to: Kim Grsman (kimgrasman) Summary: Delete deletes two characters at a time. Initial Comment: Running DQSD 3.1.4.0 on Windows 2000. When the toolbar is not docked in the main system taskbar, pressing the delete key deletes two characters at a time. If a block of text is highlighted and the delete key is pressed, the selected block AND character after the block are deleted. The problem doesn't seem to appear when the toolbar is docked onto the main system taskbar. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Kim Grsman (kimgrasman) Date: 2003-10-17 14:34 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=551308 I have been running a tentative fix for this issue for a couple of months, and it seems to be working fine. It is committed into the CVS, so I think it's safe to say it will be solved for the next release. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Kim Grsman (kimgrasman) Date: 2003-05-03 14:03 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=551308 It seems to be a problem with the keyboard hook, which needs (for unknown reasons) to echo chars when DQSD is placed in the taskbar, but does it irrespectively of where it's placed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marcel Houweling (mhwlng) Date: 2003-01-30 14:38 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=569564 I have the same problem on XP (dual monitor, DQSD on 2nd monitor) and related to this, if you paste a URL into DQSD, it appears twice.
