Category: Interface (example) Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Hotkeys not working Initial Comment: The default Win-S hotkey does nothing. It is unclear to me whether the user is supposed to type an upper-case S as part of the shortcut - I've tried both ways and didn't work. I have tried using different hotkey combos by editing preferences.js. I have tried Win-Scroll Lock, using the vcode system. I have tried using "CONTROLALT" and "SHIFTALT" instead of "WIN". It is unlikely that any program I'm running is intercepting all these combos. I am using Win 98 2nd Ed., 4.10.2222 A. v3.0 of DSQD. My system default browser is Opera 6.5 and I have edited preferences.js to make launchmode=1. I have IE5.5. Opera, but not IE, is using Proxomitron as a proxy. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Kim Grsman (kimgrasman) Date: 2004-07-20 19:04 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=551308 Should be working as of 3.1.8 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2002-12-26 13:46 Message: Logged In: NO Follow-up on my earlier comment on Win-S not working while Taskbar is in Auto-Hide mode.. Well there is an easy workaround - press Win-S twice - it works. -Ac. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Hans Fr. Nordhaug (hansfn) Date: 2002-12-23 17:10 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=21914 I have the same problem - running Win 98 2nd Ed (with all updates from Windows Update installed) , v3.1.5 of DQSD and IE version 6 (with all updates from Windows Update installed) . I tried using "SHIFT" in stead of "WIN". I tried setting hotkeyVkCode. Nothing works. Very frustrating since I use DQSD a lot on Win 2000 at work without any problems... Please try to fix this. (I'm not using Auto-Hide.)
