After installing WindowsXP SP2, each time I boot up my PC, Windows Security Centre pops up some text in the DQSD bar saying that there is a security risk running scripts... blah, blah.... If I then right-click the text, it allows me to ignore the warning, and after another Yes/No dialogue box I can run DQSD as normal. But it's annoying to have to go through this palaver after every system boot. I'm looking for a one-time permanent fix. Investigating the Windows Security settings shows that you can exclude programs from its embrace but I can't find the exe file for DQSD. Like Kim said, no guarantees with respect to malware getting in through the leftover hole. DQSD is hosted in Windows Explorer, hence this oddity. We still haven't gotten around to investigating any security implications of doing this, though, so disable the protection at your own risk. It should be safe, but I can't make any guarantees. We'll look into adding an entry on this to the FAQ later/asap.
