Hi Kim,
window.open() is used in place of createpopup() because createpopup only lets you create one window.. When focus is lost after creating a popup, the popup window is removed... Comx takes arguments that can spawn multiple windows. (I run "comx /dilbert /herman /garfield" daily..) Actually the old comx.xml only called createpopup when only one comic argument was specified.. otherwise it used window.open() as well...

Works, but with InfoBar.
So, the lead right now is window.open causes the InfoBar, and createPopup does not. I read up on createPopup, though, and it appears it's tailored for chromeless windows, i.e. no titlebar, statusbar, etc. Can you retrofit those onto a createPopup:ed window, or is it chromeless by nature?
Cheers, Kim
