Yup, that's one of the issues I've been waiting for to strike...
The WriteFile method uses a conversion routine that allocates memory on the
stack in a loop. That's pretty much verboten, and here's the punishment.

I'll try and fix this as soon as possible, but in the meantime you could try
and chunk up the write in smaller bits, so you don't send it all in one go.
