We can do that. Just means I have to go build a machine up to it again. All
my x64 machines are busy doing major VM serving right now. OTOH, maybe I'll
build a VM compiler machine. That way, I can easily keep it around without
having to worry about configuration settings mucking other things up. Since
VMWare does x64 clients, now, that should be doable.
I assume you'll want the released VS2k5, right?

Charlie,
Hmmm. Will I need to rebuild the x64 version? Or just suck
down the updated stuff after you get done with the build,
leaving the dll alone? (Sure hope I don't have to rebuild the
DLL - I'd have to rebuild a compiler environment.)
Unfortunately, you would need to... There's a script run at startup that
checks that the version number of the DLL matches the current released
version, so even if the DLL hasn't strictly changed, we enforce that they
go hand-in-hand.
I never did manage to get a 64-bit installer working, there's not enough
hours in the day for me :-)
Not sure how we move forward with the 64-bit version, I guess if you could
setup the environment again and give me RDP access, I could build the DLL
again.
