[Glenn] Not 100% certain, but I believe that setting useExternalBrowser to true meant that the browser was launched using whatever app was associated with the .htm extension. Setting it to false meant to just use the current IE instance' window.open (or a similar method) to open a new browser window. Using Tomcat but need to do more?
