Summary: gg doesn't work for UTF-8 characters

Initial Comment:
DQSD version: 3.1.9.2
Windows XP Professional Version 2002 SP2
IE version: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254

The Google search gg works for some Chinese characters like "gg 你好" but doesn't
work for most Chinese characters like "gg 李开复". These Chinese characters are in
UTF-8 encoding.

Actually, sourceforge works fine on my firefox. Maybe you don't have
Chinese fonts in your computer or browser to display Chinese characters?
I've attached a screenshot of this bug on my firefox.

I know I added UTF-8 support for the Google search, but I only tried with
my own name (that's how I noticed the problem): Kim Gräsman.

I found some JavaScript code on the net to do UTF-8 encoding, and I
suspect maybe it doesn't handle the full range of glyphs. From your report
it looks like SourceForge is having trouble as well -- the first char shows
up here as "??" and the second as "???", indicating that the second is a
three-byte char.

We'll see if we can figure it out.

- Kim
