Maybe you don't have Chinese fonts in your computer or browser to display Chinese characters? I've attached a screenshot of this bug on my firefox. File Added: bug_1787160.png ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Kim Gräsman (kimgrasman) Date: 2007-09-04 00:26 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=551308 Originator: NO I know I added UTF-8 support for the Google search, but I only tried with my own name (that's how I noticed the problem): Kim Gräsman. I found some JavaScript code on the net to do UTF-8 encoding, and I suspect maybe it doesn't handle the full range of glyphs. From your report it looks like SourceForge is having trouble as well -- the first char shows up here as "??" and the second as "???", indicating that the second is a three-byte char. We'll see if we can figure it out. - Kim ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=432066&aid=1787160&group_id=42081 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
