when i try to use the calculator functions (add 2+2 for
example) an error window pops up:

I have XP home SP2

I am surprised how much i relied on Dqsd

Please attempt a reinstall of DQSD 3.1.9.2 or DQSD 4 after the IE7
installation and let us know if that resolves it for you.

I am having this same problem. I also have IE7 and the problem may date to
that installation.
