After rebooting, Dave's Quick Search Deskbar was still on my toolbar, but the white search window was gone. It was replaced with a uniform grey area with no functionality. I have IE7b2 from Feb 2006 and DQSD works fine. But every version of IE7b2 after the Feb release DQSD is gryed out. You can get the original Feb 2006 version of IE7b2 from the download section of my website at: http://ChuckBaker.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-06-06 14:38 Message: Logged In: NO Where can I find the February release? I dont have this and I cannot find a working version. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Chuck Baker (chuckbaker) Date: 2006-05-09 07:35 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=801786 I have been Beta testing IE7b and DQSD works with the the February release but fails to load when the March 20th and later release came out. So, If anyone still has the February release and want's to use IE7b you can do that. For those of you that have the IE7b that DQSD will not run on you can uninstall IE7b and go back to IE6 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-05-03 11:26 Message: Logged In: NO Dido. Tried un-installing and installing a newer version, but no luck. I'm so depressed without my DQSD. Wish I never installed IE 7 Beta 2. Stupid Microsoft. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: John W. It's been reported to the IE team, so hopefully they will fix it before release. - Kim ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-05-01 00:26 Message: Logged In: NO same here :( does that mean we will have to use the IE search bar instead? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=432066&aid=1477841&group_id=42081 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: The Future of Linux Business White Paper from Novell.
