Summary: Error 'DQSDTools.KeyboardHook - Can't install hook'

Initial Comment:
Each time I restart the computer or reload (using "!") I
get a dialog box that reads as follows:
There was a problem initializing the enhanced keyboard
support - some key combinations and hotkeys may not
work (Error 'DQSDTools.KeyboardHook - Can't install
hook')

Running 3.1.6.0 on XP Pro SP1

There is a setting you can use within "localprefs.js" to change the
standard keyhook, for whenever there is an issue like this one. Wnenever
other application are using a keyhook, you will have to change one of them
- either DQSD or the other application. OneNote, is one such application.
Anyway... in this file (by default):
  C:\Program Files\Quick Search Deskbar\localprefs.js

Open that file in notepad, then add the following line to it:

hotkeyCharacter = "D";

Use a different letter in the quotes in order to set a different key as
the preferred keyhook. Use "!" in DQSD or reboot for it to take effect if
DQSD isn't loaded.

I cannot start the Quick Search Bar, if I try, the 'original'
Search Bar takes over, if I try again, the errormessage appears
and I simply get another Search Bar...
