Try adding this to the localprefs.js file:
 
/* Browser launch mode
*  0=use IE
*  1=use default browser
*  2=auto (launches in IE directly if IE is default browser) [default]
*/
launchmode=0;
 
Check preferences.js for more configuration settings.  (Copy the settings you want to change to localprefs.js so they won't overridden when upgrading.)

I have both AOL and IE6 (windows ME). When I enter a search, AOL launches (as this is my default browser), however I would like it to launch IE for these searches (AOL is already open).  Is there a preference setting for IE vs. AOL or will it always launch in my default browser.  FYI: I do alot of browsing on IE because my mouse (an Intellimouse) has extra buttons that do not work with AOL.
