Greg,
Try
adding this to the localprefs.js file:
/*
Browser launch mode
* 0=use IE
* 1=use default browser
* 2=auto (launches in IE directly if IE is default browser) [default]
*/
launchmode=0;
* 0=use IE
* 1=use default browser
* 2=auto (launches in IE directly if IE is default browser) [default]
*/
launchmode=0;
Check preferences.js for more configuration settings. (Copy the
settings you want to change to localprefs.js so they won't overridden when
upgrading.)
-----Original Message-----I have both AOL and IE6 (windows ME). When I enter a search, AOL launches (as this is my default browser), however I would like it to launch IE for these searches (AOL is already open). Is there a preference setting for IE vs. AOL or will it always launch in my default browser. FYI: I do alot of browsing on IE because my mouse (an Intellimouse) has extra buttons that do not work with AOL.
