DQSD is Open Source.  You can get access to the source code and contribute modifications as you wish.  The project is hosted on SourceForge at http://sourceforge.net/projects/dqsd   the files repository is here: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/dqsd/dqsd/   You need to be given access to add your own files or you can mail them to this list and someone will post them for you.  Your contribution will now be included in the next release of DQSD for all to have.   More info on contributing can be found on the faq page at http://www.dqsd.net/faq.xml or http://www.dqsd.net/faq.htm   Check the Searches section and the Coding section.  Thanks for contributing!   Hope that helps.
