Recently, the Yahoo! quotes search (ystocks.xml) stopped working and
appears to coincide with their remodel of their site. Using the DSQD
Search Wizard, I created a new search, but to keep all the prior
functionality of the existing search, I just used the wizard output to
understand why the search is broken. Although I didn't parse the original
search enough to understand everything it does, I noted that changing from
HTTP POSTs to HTTP GETs (in two places) made the search work again. I'll
leave it to someone else more familiar with that search to opine on whether
I broke something else in the process.
The updated search is attached. Any tips on getting this into the official
distribution would be appreciated.
