I'm not enough of a developer to know the specifics of a particular method of creating or enabling an activex object, _but_ I am a cautious enough computer user to be more than willing to have to explicitly allow such an object to run. And the key here is that I don't want dqsd to mask or otherwise hide from me that an object is being run. I trust dqsd. That's a specific trust that it has earned. It's not necessarily transitive.
