Hello Jurgen,

Could you check the log file in the service directory or its bin subdir?
It probably contains the command used to call CVS.

You can then try to call this command (cvs.exe + parameters) yourself from the command line.

Let us know if that works or not.

Best regards,

Bernard

My config section for CVS contains a password, like this:

<cvs>

<cvsroot>:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/sana</cvsroot>

<module>Release</module>

<password>secret</password>

</cvs>

But when I start the Draco.NET service is seems that CVS.EXE is hanging. After I kill it, I get this in the log, claiming that no password was supplied. Wham am I doing wrong?

14-10-2003 13:45:11 - Warning: CVS.EXE exit code: 1

14-10-2003 13:45:11 - CVS.EXE Reported:

CVS password:

14-10-2003 13:45:11 - CVS.EXE Reported:

cvs rlog: Empty password used - try 'cvs login' with a real password

cvs [rlog aborted]: authorization failed: server gaia rejected access to /sana for user jurgena

14-10-2003 13:45:11 - Check: 0

14-10-2003 13:45:11 - NAnt : Detected no changes to module

When I try the same without the password section, I get the same reply from CVS, although this time it doesn’t hang.

In the meantime I’m trying to convince CVSNT to accept anonymous access without a password, also with no success.

As you may understand, I’m new to these tools, but I find them quite unforgiving up to now. I’ve been reading documents for at least 4 hours now, and I’m getting very tired… L

Thanks for any help,

Jurgen
